Description
This captivating drawing depicts a majestic horse, executed with exceptional mastery of graphite. The precision of the details, particularly the subtle nuances of light and shadow, gives the coat an almost tangible texture. The mane is braided with remarkable finesse, reflecting the art of classical horsemanship. The horse's expression, imbued with nobility and gentleness, immediately captures the viewer's attention. The delicate lines of the reins and the harness demonstrate an impressive attention to detail, adding a realistic dimension to the whole. The composition, both simple and elegant, highlights the grace and power of the subject. The artist's technique, combining precision and sensitivity, perfectly illustrates the beauty and complexity of this magnificent animal, while revealing a profound connection between humans and horses.
Presentation
Art, for me, is an inner journey and shouldn't simply stop at the boundaries of realism, but rather cross that barrier and plunge us into the very heart of the imagination, of surrealism. We must appeal to the imagination, the impossible, the unreal through the phenomenon of pareidolia in order to captivate the viewer's attention. By employing pareidolia, or the art of seeing something else, a cognitive phenomenon combining the interplay of shapes, shadows, and light, Saâdi creates a kind of optical illusion that leads the viewer to linger over his canvases in order to understand what lies hidden within. Using pareidolia as an artistic and poetic tool, Saâdi draws us into his artistic universe where landscapes and figures intertwine. Surrealism remains his central theme, where feminine beauty echoes the beauty of nature.
Farid resides in France but exhibits regularly throughout the world (Japan, Belgium, France, USA, etc.).
