Description

This artwork depicts a majestic horse galloping powerfully across a dramatic desert landscape. Captured in mid-motion, the horse displays a brown and white pinto coat that contrasts beautifully with the arid background. Rugged cliffs and towering rock formations frame the scene, evoking the vast expanses of the American West. The sky is a bright blue dotted with scattered clouds, accentuating the depth and immensity of the landscape. Light subtly illuminates the scene, highlighting the textures of the rocks and the powerful musculature of the animal. The artist succeeds in conveying a sense of freedom and power, inviting the viewer to feel the horse's vibrant energy and the untamed grandeur of the wilderness. The precise detail and dynamic composition make this piece a vibrant evocation of the spirit of the desert.

Presentation

Art, for me, is an inner journey and shouldn't simply stop at the boundaries of realism, but rather cross that barrier and plunge us into the very heart of the imagination, of surrealism. We must appeal to the imagination, the impossible, the unreal through the phenomenon of pareidolia in order to captivate the viewer's attention. By employing pareidolia, or the art of seeing something else, a cognitive phenomenon combining the interplay of shapes, shadows, and light, Saâdi creates a kind of optical illusion that leads the viewer to linger over his canvases in order to understand what lies hidden within. Using pareidolia as an artistic and poetic tool, Saâdi draws us into his artistic universe where landscapes and figures intertwine. Surrealism remains his central theme, where feminine beauty echoes the beauty of nature.

Farid resides in France but exhibits regularly throughout the world (Japan, Belgium, France, USA, etc.).
