One of a new series of exciting, colourful, innovative and expressive works offering views of the landscape of Provence. Bernadette has taken and amplified the beautiful light in this wonderful part of the world breaking it down into its myriad components resulting in an explosion of colour. A path cleverly leads the eye through a grove of olive trees along the hillside disappearing over the brow of the hill in the distance. All imbued with the warmth of the sun. Strong yet simple abstracted shapes allow the colour to reign. This is full summer and the colours are verdant. A symphony of greens bursting with energy.

This expressive artwork showcases a evocative landscape dominated by vibrant, swirling strokes that depict a lush, tree-filled scene. The bold use of greens and earthy tones creates a dynamic, almost dreamlike atmosphere. The composition features a winding path leading the viewer's eye into the depths of the vibrant foliage, inviting a journey through the canvas. The painter employs an impressionistic style, using loose, bold brushwork to convey motion and emotion. The trees, with their twisting forms, instill a sense of movement, while the path adds depth and perspective. This piece is compelling in its ability to capture both the tranquility and the energy of nature, encouraging reflection and inviting the imagination to wander. Framed tastefully in a simple wooden frame, the artwork commands attention, making it a striking focal point in any setting.
