Description
This captivating work presents a human figure in a dynamic posture, expressing both tension and grace. The body, with its blurred contours, seems to merge with an abstract background of greyish and earthy tones. The technique highlights textures, creating an impression of depth despite the apparent simplicity of the strokes. The face, barely sketched, emanates an aura of mystery, heightened by the subtle asymmetry of the lines. The raised arms and bent legs suggest a movement suspended in time. This unsettling composition plays with proportions, defying classical conventions of the human body. The bold use of earthy hues and shadows gives the work an organic and introspective character. A discrete signature in the lower left marks this singularity as part of a strong artistic vision.
Presentation
Of Italian origin, the artist lives and works in Alsace. He paints faces, busts, and silhouettes that multiply to emphasize their reality, which is as much an open window as it is a mirror... He paints attitudes that betray stories, captured between two moments, exuding a small fragment of the soul.
