Description
Familiar strangers 2 captures the intriguing feeling of recognizing someone without truly knowing them. A woman holding a glass of wine is reduced to clear geometric shapes and carefully chosen details, allowing the viewer to focus on presence, mood, and suggestion rather than literal likeness. The work feels stylish and introspective at once, making it a strong accent for a contemporary interior.
Made with acrylic and markers on paper, the artwork uses a soft yet sophisticated palette of lilac blue, pink, cream, mauve, and wine red. The clean structure of the composition is balanced by a quiet emotional undertone, giving the piece both decorative appeal and conceptual depth. It is well suited for collectors drawn to contemporary portraiture, graphic clarity, and elegant figurative works.
Colors and tones: lilac blue, soft pink, cream, mauve, gray-violet, burgundy, wine red.
Style and themes: contemporary figurative art, geometric portrait, stylized figure, identity, memory, anonymity, modern elegance, quiet observation.
Materials: Acrylic, markers on paper.
Shipping: The artwork is shipped rolled in a protective tube and will require stretching or framing after delivery.
