"Spring" by Andriy Klishyn is a vivid and emotional portrayal of renewal and transformation. The artist uses a soft, ethereal palette of greens, yellows, and blues to symbolize nature's awakening, while the expressive brushstrokes give the impression of movement—like the first warm breeze after a long winter.The human face emerging from the abstract background appears both serene and introspective, as if absorbing the energy of the season. The bright, piercing blue eyes suggest a sense of awakening, curiosity, and hope, while the textured strokes on the lips and forehead add a feeling of vulnerability and change.Through "Spring", Klishyn invites the viewer to experience the deep emotions tied to seasonal rebirth—not just in nature, but within ourselves. It is a work that embodies both the fragility and the power of new beginnings, capturing the fleeting, yet transformative essence of spring.
Presentation
Born on February 27, 1958 in the city of Kirovabad, Republic of Azerbaijan. Almost immediately after birth he moved to Eastern Kazakhstan, to the city of Ust-Kamenogorsk. Lived there for 15 years, graduated from school and grew up. In 1975 he moved to Crimea, and in 1978 he settled in eastern Ukraine, in the city of Gorlovka. He graduated from the Technical and Economic Institute and worked as an engineer, teacher, and then in the field of insurance, finance and banking. Since May 2014, a forced migrant has been living in Kyiv.
The artist about himself:
“As a professional artist, I started my career late, at 61 years old. But it is possible that this was what should have happened. Everything has its time. Rich life experiences have become the source of my creativity. My art is ambiguous and unlike any other, probably because “I paint with my heart." Sometimes I use an intuitive drawing, namely: not from life or from a photograph, but only what suits the subconscious, soul, heart.
Most importantly and completely unexpectedly for me, after a series of works I began to understand where my images come from... I think that I or my essence saw them in our past or future life.
Despite my little experience, I already have more than two hundred paintings, about forty of them have found “their home" in private collections and museums."
The paintings are in the Lutsk Art Museum, in the Korsakov Family Museum of Contemporary Art.
