Description
This original one of a kind piece depicts a red sailboat by a large iceberg. The sailboat stands small in comparison to the massive structure of the ice. The artist uses unique technique of palette knife painting to create thick texture that enrich this work. Reflections of the iceberg are seen in the vastness of the ocean. With climate change on the rise, and the icebergs on decline, how long do we have until they all disappear and the artworks depicting icebergs will be as historical as paintings of mammoths? This piece was influenced by Hakusai's work and the Edo period of Japanese art. This canvas comes ready to hang the moment it arrives at your door UNLESS the collector requests it to be sent in a tube and unstretched for reduced shipping cost. Please request it upon purchase.
Presentation
Passionate about art, Ruslana's life revolves around it. In her work, Ruslana strives to capture the spirit of her subjects - be it the spirit of the city, nature, or a person. The rich texture and bold brushstrokes of the paint are visible in her artwork thanks to her skillful and unique technique, which is heavily inspired by Impressionism.
Ruslana has exhibited and published internationally, with collectors from North America, Europe, and Asia. Ruslana's great joy is sharing these moments of wonder and awe she finds in her subjects with the public and collectors.
“The whole world is Impressionism," says Ruslana.
