Origin: France

2020 or the time of confinement, of canning. Far from the XXL screens in my studio, I work with 20 x 20 cm squares. In this surface with four closed sides, I discover a multitude of independent worlds. Each square has its own life, its history, its texture. Combined with others, it becomes part of a larger narrative. The 24 fragments dialogue, organize or oppose each other. As soon as the ink hits the paper, I lose control and let them write a new script. With each draw, I am taken on board by a story, which keeps escaping me.
