Description
This strikingly realistic artwork immerses us in a vibrant nighttime urban scene. The main building, bathed in intense red light, immediately captures the attention. This bold contrast between the warmth of the red tones and the darkness of the night draws the eye and creates an atmosphere that is both mysterious and captivating. The architectural details of the building, with its partially lit windows and time-worn facades, reveal a rich history. The dark touches on the sides of the building contrast with the vibrant glow of the signs and lamps, creating a fascinating play of light and shadow. The artist has masterfully used dynamic brushstrokes to emphasize the textures and nuances of the building's surface, adding a tactile dimension to the composition. In the background, the deep blue night sky brings an unexpected serenity to this busy scene. The buildings along the street, although in shadow, suggest urban continuity and depth in the work's perspective. The play of light and reflections on the roadway add an extra touch of realism, capturing the essence of a busy yet quiet urban street. The technique employed is meticulous, every detail is carefully depicted, every shadow calculated, every light subtly placed to provide impeccable visual harmony. This painting transcends mere representation to become a sensory immersion into a scene of city life. In short, this painting does not simply depict an urban scene; it tells a story, evokes emotions and invites the viewer to explore a world where each element has a meaning and a determining place.
Presentation
Born in August 1965 in Boulogne-Billancourt (92), lives and works in Gif-sur-Yvette (91).
Member of the Salon d'Automne, Paris. Member of the Taylor Foundation, Paris.
Sensitive and offbeat by nature with the world around her, it was her encounter with the theater during her high school years that allowed her to discover an artistic universe in which she finally felt "in her place". She continued the theater for years but it was by moving to Gif-sur-Yvette in 2008 that she discovered acrylic painting with established artists. This artistic form becomes obvious because it passes from the role of performer in the theater to that of creator in painting. It will therefore be the artistic expression that will allow her to express her emotions and make a link with the world around her. After several years of lessons and personal work, she decides to face the critical gaze of the public. She then participated in the Festival of artists in her city, Gif-sur-Yvette, in June 2016 where she received an encouraging reception from the public and professionals. Since then, she has been painting full time and exhibiting regularly in France, (Paris region) and provinces) and abroad. Her collectors are French and foreign (Switzerland, Germany, Great Britain, United States, Singapore).
