Description
This canvas was made on the motif during a painting trip to Venice. Barbara Lisy was in the neighborhood of Sant Angelo. That day, the weather was overcast, there was no sun to create contrasts, shadows and lights.
The artist nevertheless took up the challenge of creating this view which he liked, so typical with the narrow alley, the river, the bridge in the distance and the boats.
Barbara Lisy was inspired by the local colors that she pushed: oranges, pinks, verdigris… The whole is a work in warm and soft tones.
The cardboard was mounted on a frame. The artwork is ready to hang.
