Description
This captivating artwork, composed of three juxtaposed panels, is distinguished by its abstract and monochromatic structure. The artist employs a striking contrast between deep black and a subtle white. Creating a powerful and balanced visual dynamic. The organic, fluid yet fragmented forms seem to intertwine and break on each panel, evoking a sense of movement. The textured background, delicately nuanced, adds additional depth to the composition, allowing the observer to immerse themselves in a continuous visual reading. This texture gives the impression of a passage of time, of a surface worn and polished by history, in contrast to the sharpness of the black forms. The masterful use of negative and positive space, without strict dividing lines, reinforces the visual impact and the exploration of the limits of abstraction. The work, by its apparent simplicity, demands careful contemplation to decipher the nuances and underlying intentions of each brushstroke. This painting, both modern and timeless, invites reflection on the contrast not only of colors, but also between order and chaos, the known and the unknown. It is an eloquent demonstration of the ability of art to capture and transform perceptions of space and time.
Presentation
“I am for a reconnection with the Living; My artistic quest is to express the beauty and joy of being connected to the Earth.
In love with our blue planet, Sophie follows her inspiration wherever it comes from, as long as the common thread is, mainly the Environment, more precisely the Natural Elements. She uses contrast to bring out the light, tries to get to the essential, with the grace of the natural.
Sophie is a French artist, born in Paris in 1964. Listed at i-CAC, present on the international art market for 20 years.
Graduated as a “decorative painter" from the Art et Métier Institute for Decorative Mural Art;
Frescoes and Trompe-l'oeil.
