Description
Felix the Cat, who first appeared in the silent film era, is a reference. Later reappearing in the 60s, we know his friendly face well today. The popular cat has become a vintage icon today.
The Shokkobo duo reinterprets it here with their pop art twist.
The work is done on a glossy support which adds a lot of depth and originality.
The painting is produced in 25 x 25 cm format, then mounted on a white mat measuring 40 x 40 cm. The work is thus ready to be framed at your convenience (standard format for framing).
Hand signed.
Presentation
Shokkobo is above all color, joy, a taste for the visual and completely crazy ideas.
Shokkobo is a duo of artists influenced by pop art. United in life as on the art scene, the duo deliver their own interpretation of the world, of the images with which we live, and especially those that make them vibrate, "as long as it's completely barred" to quote them. Whether it's the world of design, art, video games or comics, cartoons or cinema, it's all there.
Shokkobo works of art have found their place around the world: Australia, Canada, United States, Portugal, England, Germany or even in the United Arab Emirates.
In short, the duo shines in art with one key word: authenticity.
