Following the Winds, 1 in a triptych, 2023

Iryna Rets

The first work of the triptych “Following the Winds" conveys a sense of strength and freedom in movement. The lines, like air currents, intertwine smoothly, creating a rhythmic composition that symbolizes the dynamics of life's changes. The title hints at interaction with external forces, where the wind becomes a metaphor for change and adaptation. New movements here symbolize new actions that lead to new results and open the door to a new life. This work explores the fine line between control and intuitive following of life's flows. It immerses the viewer in the process of searching for inner balance, emphasizing that true harmony is achieved through movement and the ability to adapt. Each stroke reflects the pursuit of freedom and flexibility, the lightness that comes through accepting change and standing strong in the face of it. The triptych embodies the philosophy of finding resilience through flexibility and openness to the world, reflecting the idea that change is the path to new life, transformation, and new results. The work is covered with matt varnish. At the request of the buyer, for an additional fee, the painting can be presented in a mat, frame and plexiglass.
