Description
Rare Fish II – Between Abstraction and Nature
This expressive work (30x40 cm, 2025, framed) captures the essence of movement and lightness. The bright color accents in blue, orange and violet flow into one another and create an atmospheric composition that oscillates between suggestion and abstraction. The fish is not firmly outlined, but openly integrated into the surrounding colors, giving the work a dreamy quality.
The conscious reduction of contours creates space for free interpretation and increases the depth effect of the painting. The gestural application of paint makes the work appear spontaneous and yet harmonious. is a poetic invitation to immerse yourself in the flowing world of colors and to experience the interplay of water, light and movement in a new form.
Presentation
Born in Bad Segeberg, my life's journey has taken me to vibrant locales such as Brazil, Spain, and the USA. I pursued my passion for art at the prestigious Falmouth School of Art and Design in England and complemented this with a diploma in Geography from Marburg University.
Since 1997, I have had the privilege of showcasing my work in numerous solo and group exhibitions in cultural hubs like Antwerp, Berlin, Frankfurt, Wiesbaden, and Mainz. My artistic journey also involves organizing workshops focused on experimental and expressive painting, sharing my techniques and vision with fellow art enthusiasts.
From 2007 to 2014, I operated a production gallery in Mainz, fostering a creative community. Since 2014, I have been based at my studio in Langendellschlag 62, Wiesbaden, where my creative ideas come to life. In 2021, I expanded my artistic reach by opening "ARTLET," a dedicated art outlet in the heart of the city, making my work more accessible to a broader audience.
My diverse experiences and passion for art continue to drive my creativity, allowing me to inspire and be inspired in return.
