Description
Sklim17
The painting “Portrait of Geese" by the Ukrainian artist Oksana Sklym presents a lively and almost ceremonial depiction of a flock of geese. Each bird is carefully painted with expressive detail, capturing their individuality while still emphasizing the unity of the group. The contrast of white plumage against the deep green grass creates a sense of freshness and vitality. Through this work, the artist expresses the harmony of nature and rural life, as well as the quiet dignity of these often-overlooked creatures. The flock symbolizes community, resilience, and the simple but profound beauty found in everyday surroundings.
