Description
Sklim9
The painting “Life in the Village in Summer" by the Ukrainian artist Oksana Sklym beautifully captures the serene charm of rural life. In the foreground, black-and-white cows peacefully graze in a sunlit meadow, while behind them, small village houses nestle among green gardens and fields that stretch toward the horizon. The sky, filled with soft, billowing clouds, adds depth and airiness to the scene, enhancing its atmosphere of calm and abundance. Through this work, Sklym expresses a deep appreciation for the simplicity and harmony of the Ukrainian countryside. The painting conveys not only the everyday rhythm of village life but also the timeless bond between people, nature, and land — a reminder of roots, traditions, and the peaceful beauty of summer days in rural Ukraine.
