Description
This captivating artwork portrays two elegant white peacocks perched in a lavish setting, capturing an ethereal atmosphere. The peacocks, with their resplendent plumage cascading gracefully, dominate the scene. Their pristine feathers create a striking contrast against the muted, classical background, which features ornate columns and a decorative vase, hinting at an opulent interior. The artist's meticulous attention to detail is evident in the intricate patterns of the feathers and the subtle interplay of light and shadow, enhancing the birds' majestic poise. The background's soft colors complement the peacocks, emphasizing their beauty. This piece masterfully combines realism with romanticism, offering viewers a glimpse into a serene and luxurious world, highlighting the grace and elegance of these rare birds.

Artist Statement
In the way that a poet would seek to understand language with the goal of approaching the sublime, I have tried to understand painting with similar purpose. The ability to move beyond the literal towards a truth. The tools of a painter are akin to that of a poet, words and their placement, language and its rhythm. I am painting poems, images that dance between realism and abstraction, text and flesh, with the hope that the viewer experiences rather than views.
