Wawapod

This work is part of his series on glass.

Wawapod's artistic style oscillates between pixel art and modern pointillism, creating works that are both innovative and captivating.

One of his distinctive techniques involves painting directly onto glass in display cases.

This process brings remarkable depth to his creations, thanks to a mixture of abstract backgrounds created with an acrylic knife and detailed visuals composed of small dots of paint on the glass.

This captivating work features a stylized portrait using an innovative pixelated technique. Against an electric blue background, a recognizable silhouette emerges. Like a modern mosaic, the brightly colored pixels, particularly the vibrant yellow, cluster together to form energetic, sweeping strands of hair. The harmoniously dispersed white and yellow squares evoke a sense of movement and transformation. The dispersion effect on the left side enriches the composition, suggesting a fusion of the digital and the organic. The matching patterned frame perfectly frames this burst of intense color and emphasizes the subject's visual impact. This play of light and contrast gives the work remarkable depth, paying homage to pop culture while exploring the boundaries of contemporary art.
