Description
This artwork is a striking example of geometric abstract art, defined by its bold use of color and form. Dominating the composition is a large expanse of vibrant red at the top, which commands immediate attention. Below, a contrasting interplay of black, blue, green, yellow, and pink creates a dynamic visual rhythm. Each color block intersects at sharp angles, evoking a sense of movement and energy. The overlapping forms appear intentionally disjointed, suggesting a modernist approach that challenges traditional perspectives. The texture, though flat, implies layered construction, adding depth. The piece's bold simplicity is deceptive, inviting thorough exploration of its spatial relationships and color dynamics. Through this abstraction, the work communicates a sense of freedom and innovation, characteristic of avant-garde artistic exploration.
Presentation
My works play with remains of various, almost all precarious, materials: papers, cardboard, paints, photographs, found objects..., which are combined through a technique that owes a lot to collage. In most cases, the arrangement of the fragments and the randomness of the composition lead the observer into a labyrinth that demands to be interpreted. The confluence of disparate elements resists the inadequacy of a rigid, obsolete system, opening up to a chaos that points towards the configuration of a new order.
