Description
This contemporary artwork is distinguished by its vibrant palette and bold approach to form. Four strikingly stylized flowers emerge from a deep blue background. Each flower boasts a vivid color: a delicate pink, an intense red, a bright orange, and a creamy white, creating an electrifying contrast with the background. The thick, generously applied paint texture lends a tactile dimension, accentuating the dynamism of the work. The slightly irregular outlines of the petals add a touch of authenticity and movement. The artist employs a masterful simplicity to transform natural elements into a captivating, modern composition. The juxtaposition of colors and textures invites the viewer to explore the nuances of the work, revealing the richness and depth of each floral element. This piece embodies a harmonious fusion of abstraction and floral representation.
Presentation
David Pasquinelli is a French painter born in 1972.
His work is a search for harmony in chaos through colors, shapes and materials. Using mainly acrylic paint and knife, his style is deeply influenced by artists such as Nicolas de Staël, Mark Rothko, and Pierre Soulages.
The goal of his painting is to ensure that his painting evokes the same emotions as those provided by music or poetry.
For him, the art of painting is similar to creating a melody in music, where a few simple, but perfectly harmonized chords can evoke deep emotion. With this in mind, David strives to find the simplest and purest forms, seeking to capture the essence of emotion in his works.
His paintings are therefore a visual and emotional journey, inviting the viewer to feel rather than simply observe. This unique approach to painting makes this painter a distinctive artist, whose works invite the viewer on a visual journey where emotion and harmony are the sole objective.
