Description

In "Near the River. Boats", Savenets Valery captures a tranquil riverside scene with two empty boats resting on the riverbank. The calm water reflects the greenery of the surrounding landscape, giving the painting a soothing and peaceful atmosphere. The boats, tied up and idle, hint at a moment of stillness, perhaps after a long day of activity on the river. The lush greenery and wildflowers along the shore add to the natural beauty of the scene.Valery likely wanted to express the quiet charm of rural life, where nature and human-made elements coexist in harmony. The stillness of the boats and the calmness of the water evoke a sense of peace and serenity, inviting viewers to pause and appreciate the simple beauty of the world around them. This painting conveys a moment of reflection, solitude, and connection to nature.
