Point de lumière, Circa 2023

Maria Ruisi

Point of Light is a minimalist contemporary abstract work that explores the subtle relationship between silence, space, and the presence of light. On a light, mineral surface, a thin black line traverses the composition with restraint, while a dark dot, placed with almost meditative precision, becomes the visual heart of the work. Nothing is superfluous. Every element is intentional. Balance is created in the tension between emptiness and intensity.
The artwork evokes a suspended moment: a breath, a pause, an inner focus. The point acts as an anchor, a source of stability and calm, inviting the viewer to slow down and refocus. Depending on the ambient light, the surface reveals delicate nuances and a silent depth that enrich the space without ever overwhelming it.
Its minimalist aesthetic fits naturally into refined contemporary settings: Zen interiors, clean lines, and influences from Japandi and wabi-sabi. Point de Lumière interacts with the space, creating a sense of clarity, serenity, and timeless elegance.
Made with high-quality professional materials, this artwork is mounted on a deep gallery-style frame, offering a strong presence and a contemporary reading.
Every detail is designed to ensure stability, durability and optimal preservation over time.
A unique work, signed by the artist and accompanied by its certificate of authenticity, Point of Light is aimed at collectors and lovers of contemporary art looking for a sober, sensitive and deeply balanced piece.
