Description
Original acrylic pouring composition — deep teal and turquoise currents fracturing through black fissures, dissolving into white, with coral and copper touches emerging at the base like warmth returning to a frozen landscape.
Realized in the artist's atelier with materials sourced from the Netherlands, Switzerland, and France. The work can be mounted on a solid hardwood stretcher (3 cm depth) on request. It ships by default unmounted, rolled in a protective telescopic tube, free of charge — a framed option (3 available colors) can also be arranged at no additional cost. Delivered with certificate of authenticity and Abstract Art Gallery's lifetime guarantee.
Presentation
Maria Ruisi is a contemporary artist whose work explores balance, light, and depth through abstraction and wall sculpture. Her pieces reside at the boundary between painting and sculpture, where matter comes alive to dialogue with architectural space.
Trained in arts and design in Latvia, Maria Ruisi develops a rigorous practice informed by her background in engineering and visual perception research. This dual approach provides her work with a powerful contemporary presence and profound aesthetic coherence. Each creation is a unique, hand-crafted piece, where sculpted reliefs and pigments interact with light to reveal subtle variations throughout the day. Designed as silent presences, her works enhance prestigious environments, ranging from private collections to interior design and luxury hospitality projects.
