Description
Mineral Wave is an original abstract work created in 2023 by the artist Samia Kerkeni.
In this vertical composition, the artist combines the spontaneous movement of fluid acrylic with a meticulous work of matter. Tones of pearl gray, silver, white, lavender, and deep violet are crossed by black accents and golden-coppery flashes.
The whole evokes the veins of a precious mineral, a rock face transformed by water, or a geological landscape observed at an almost microscopic scale. Some areas are built with textured gel forming reliefs up to about 5 mm. The light catches these asperities and subtly modifies the perception of the canvas throughout the day.
Unique work, entirely handmade. It is signed in the bottom right on the front and carries on the back its title, technique, dimensions, year of creation, and the artist's signature. The canvas is mounted on a stretcher frame, unframed and ready to be hung. A signed certificate of authenticity is provided.
