Golden Drift by Maria Ruisi is a 50 × 70 cm sculptural 3D relief in acrylic and resin — four bands of dimensional texture drifting across a taupe ground touched with gold and olive, a diffuse copper glow suggesting low sunlight through moving forms.
Realized in the artist's atelier with materials sourced from the Netherlands, Switzerland, and France. Presented in a white US Box frame, 3 cm deep. Delivered with certificate of authenticity and Abstract Art Gallery's lifetime guarantee.
As a sculptural relief with no fixed top or bottom, Golden Drift can be hung in two orientations — horizontal or vertical — each revealing a different emotional register: quiet horizontal calm, or a sense of gentle vertical ascension. The collector is invited to choose the orientation that speaks to their space.
Presentation
Maria Ruisi is a contemporary artist whose work explores balance, light, and depth through abstraction and wall sculpture. Her pieces reside at the boundary between painting and sculpture, where matter comes alive to dialogue with architectural space.
Trained in arts and design in Latvia, Maria Ruisi develops a rigorous practice informed by her background in engineering and visual perception research. This dual approach provides her work with a powerful contemporary presence and profound aesthetic coherence. Each creation is a unique, hand-crafted piece, where sculpted reliefs and pigments interact with light to reveal subtle variations throughout the day. Designed as silent presences, her works enhance prestigious environments, ranging from private collections to interior design and luxury hospitality projects.
