Description
Plot for Sale is a striking condensation of the city's continuous expansion. Elements such as the barbed wire fence create a "piece" of land that empties it of its geographical and ecological features. However, certain elements at the margins disrupt this continuous, seemingly endless barrier. The anthills act as a counterpoint to the habitation claims symbolized by the rug placed at the center. As if rising from the rug, the bird taking flight is linked to the sky almost perpendicular to the plot. Flight is one of nature's anthropocentric transformations. These multiplicities of negotiation at the margins offer diverse observations and points for reflection.
