Description
This captivating work harmoniously blends abstraction and figuration. Dominated by a black and white grid background, it features intensely red circles marked by diagonal yellow and black bands, reminiscent of road signs. Miniature human figures, inserted within some of the circles, add a surprising and playful scale to the composition. Thin lines connect the circles, creating a dynamic and interconnected network. Splashes of red accentuate the sense of movement, while gray and white circles offer subtle contrast. The whole combines a sense of geometric order with a vibrant narrative, prompting reflection on the interaction between humanity and the urban environment.
Presentation
Her work falls within a contemporary narrative trompe-l'œil, where everyday objects, faux materials, and miniature figures compose poetic and symbolic scenes. At the age of 16, she studied under Salvador Dalí, a formative experience that profoundly influenced her artistic approach and nurtured a unique, demanding, and deeply narrative universe, exploring human emotions and the tensions of our time.
