Description
This is a satire of our society, where everyone pulls out their cell phone to photograph everything. Humans, it seems, are beings who only see through the lens of material objects. Phew!
Look at life for yourself, stop trying to cram everything into a box; you're no longer yourself. Stay who you were. What's the point of sending yourself thousands of photos of your meals at restaurants, of the stone in front of you, of crowded squares where you know nothing and no one? I'll give you a break, but stay the woman you are. Don't become the magazine model presented to you on every digital platform. Look at that photographer in the top left corner of the image, risking his life to become a paparazzi, simply to get a "scoop." LET'S BE AND REMAIN OURSELVES.
Presentation
Her work falls within a contemporary narrative trompe-l'œil, where everyday objects, faux materials, and miniature figures compose poetic and symbolic scenes. At the age of 16, she studied under Salvador Dalí, a formative experience that profoundly influenced her artistic approach and nurtured a unique, demanding, and deeply narrative universe, exploring human emotions and the tensions of our time.
