Description
This work is a continuation of the series “Where it is quiet", in which the artist explores silence as a space for inner contemplation. Through minimal imagery and soft color transitions, a sense of pause emerges—where the unnecessary fades away, leaving only the presence of the moment.
Presentation
Aliona Koroliova is a Ukrainian artist whose practice explores the subtle connection between material and emotion. Art has always been an inseparable part of her life — a quiet language through which she perceives and expresses the world.
In 2011, she graduated from the Kyiv Institute of Technologies and Design with a degree in Textile Design, which shaped her sensitivity to texture, composition, and color. Over time, her path naturally evolved from botanical watercolor illustration to abstract painting, where color and light become a form of inner contemplation.
Since 2024, she has been studying in the studio of Ukrainian artist Oleksii Malykh. In her works, she turns to the themes of light, balance, and silence — creating a space not for explanation, but for feeling.
