Description

Golden summer wind swirling through flowers and memory.

This contemporary abstract artwork captures the fleeting beauty of a summer that is already beginning to disappear. Through expressive brushwork, flowing movement, and luminous layers of warm color, the artist transforms a garden scene into an emotional landscape filled with nostalgia, light, and memory. Swirling forms suggest blooming roses, peonies, wild grasses, and sunlit foliage carried by a gentle gust of wind, creating a dreamlike atmosphere between reality and recollection.

Created with acrylic and potassium permanganate on cotton canvas, the artwork radiates warmth through rich orange, golden ochre, peach, coral, amber, and soft green tones. Dynamic brushstrokes guide the viewer through the composition like currents of air moving across a summer garden. The intentionally blurred forms allow personal interpretation, making the artwork feel both deeply intimate and universally familiar.

Rather than depicting a specific place, the composition evokes a sensation: the memory of long afternoons, childhood freedom, warm sunlight filtering through leaves, and the bittersweet awareness that beautiful moments never stay forever. The painting balances energy and serenity, movement and reflection, creating a visual experience that unfolds gradually over time.

Collectors searching for contemporary abstract artwork, floral abstract art, orange abstract wall art, expressive abstract painting, nature-inspired artwork, abstract garden artwork, modern statement wall art, warm-toned abstract decor, abstract expressionist artwork, luxury interior artwork, and emotional contemporary art will find exceptional appeal in this piece.

Its inviting palette and uplifting atmosphere make it an ideal gift for art lovers, nature enthusiasts, interior designers, and collectors seeking artwork that brings warmth, optimism, and sophistication into a space. Equally suited for contemporary interiors, luxury homes, offices, and hospitality environments, this artwork becomes a daily reminder of light, beauty, and the precious passage of time.

Presentation

PUGMATIK is a contemporary abstract artist and award-winning designer whose practice explores memory, transformation, and the fragile states between appearance and disappearance.

Alesia graduated from the A.M. Shirokov Institute of Modern Knowledge with a degree in Virtual Environment Design and has been a member of the Belarusian Union of Designers since 2013. Alongside her artistic practice, she has built an internationally recognized career in branding and packaging design, receiving awards from organizations including GDUSA (USA), Pentawards (Belgium), World Brand Design Society (UK), and A' Design Award (Italy).

This background in visual systems and layered communication strongly informs her painting practice. Working primarily with acrylic abstraction, PUGMATIK creates atmospheric compositions that exist between presence and erosion, structure and dissolution. Her artworks emerge through gradual layering processes in which traces, textures, and translucent forms partially conceal one another, embedding a sense of time into the surface.

Rather than depicting literal landscapes, her works evoke emotional and psychological atmospheres. Soft diffused structures interact with more defined gestures, creating tension between stability and disappearance. Memory, perception, and transformation become central themes, while the image itself remains intentionally unresolved and open to interpretation.

Her visual language reflects both designerly precision and intuitive experimentation, balancing restraint with emotional depth. The artworks function as meditative spaces where forms seem to appear and fade simultaneously, like fragments of memory that cannot be fully recovered.

PUGMATIK will present new work at REDISCOVERED by The Holy Art Gallery in Barcelona in 2026.

Through abstraction and layered surfaces, PUGMATIK creates paintings that explore transformation not as rupture, but as a continuous and quiet process of becoming.
