Delight, 2026

The artwork explores the synthesis of sensory desires through the language of Pop Art and vibrant pattern play. By depersonalizing the scene—leaving only the coffee, milkshakes, and pastries—I shift the viewer's attention to the objects themselves, turning them into icons of mass desire and aesthetic comfort. The structural foundation of the canvas is a dynamic dialogue of conflicting patterns: the strict, vertical rhythm of the olive-and-cream background stripes clashes with the playful, chaotic polka dots on the textured lilac-pink tablecloth. The composition is crystallized by my signature plastic technique—a luminous pink outline that encircles the objects. This boundary isolates each element, giving the soft textures of whipped cream, glossy cherries, and delicate anemones a sharp, graphic urgency. Through this hyper-stylized lens, the ephemeral nature of a sweet moment is preserved as an enduring monument to modern joy.
