Description
This artwork is a striking example of geometric abstraction, where bold vertical and horizontal lines intersect to form a cohesive composition. The artist expertly uses a vibrant palette of greens, yellows, blues, and earthy oranges, creating a harmonious yet dynamic balance of warm and cool tones. Notably, the vibrant yellow section in the center draws the viewer's eye, serving as a focal point amidst the structured chaos. The layering of colors adds depth and complexity, while the interplay of light and shadow introduces a sense of dimensionality. This piece captivates with its architectural qualities, invoking a sense of looking into an illuminated space. The simplicity of form is contrasted with the richness of color, making it a compelling study of order and emotion. This artwork's unique blend of precise geometry and expressive color invites contemplative engagement.
Presentation
Delia Solari is an Argentine painter, who worked on Neo Geometric Figuration and is now dedicated to Geometric Abstraction, with her own style that she called "Sensitive Planimetric Structuralism", whose development is explained in the book of her authorship "ESTETIC STATEMENTS".
She studied drawing, painting and composition with Mari Lagsner, Alfredo De Vicenzo, Marta Lozano, Julio Giustozzi and Juan Carlos Chasco Ross, History of Art with Jorge López Anaya and Theory and Philosophy of Art with Fermín Fevre.
She made Exhibitions in Galleries and Museums all over the world.
The French critic Ionel Jianou commented on her work “What richness and variety in the topics covered! From the most ingenious combinations of geometric figures to the relationship between music and painting, from the problems of light to the resonance and harmony of colors, from the tenderness and sensitive aspect of images to the vision of a movement cosmic, everything has been dealt with intelligence, strength and fervor in Delia Solari's dialogue with the Universe ".
