Description
This artwork is distinguished by its bold Cubist style, featuring an abstract face composed of interlocking geometric forms. The painting employs a vibrant color palette, blending shades of blue, green, yellow, and brown to create an intriguing visual harmony. The facial features are simplified and fragmented, with bold lines defining the contours, lending a certain dynamism to the whole. The subject's asymmetrical gaze immediately draws the eye, suggesting a mysterious inner depth. The background contrasts gently with the face, accentuating its visual impact. Each section of the face seems to express a different feeling, inviting the viewer to a personal interpretation. The signature at the bottom confirms the authenticity of this remarkable piece. This painting is a refined exploration of form and color, encapsulating the inventive and expressive essence of the Cubist movement.
Presentation
At the age of 10, she started practicing drawing and later on became passionate about painting. She got a training in painting at first autodidactically before working in the workshop of Brienne with Jean Louis Engels until 1994. She then enrolled in open courses at the School of Fine Arts of Toulouse with Rémi Peyranne.
A versitile artist he draws his inspiration from raw art to cubism; from Matisse to Modigliani, from Picasso to Chagall, Sabine Louriac's paintings depict mostly female personages, strange and almost anthropomorphism with a colorful and bright color pallette.
