Colourful Conversation, 2026

Aram Yengibaryan

This abstract composition explores the tension between color and void. Bold horizontal bands slice through a muted grey background. The palette vibrates with raw energy. A shock of brilliant yellow evokes flickering flames or wild grass. Below it, a deep crimson streak adds a visceral, grounded weight. The bottom edge is anchored by a lush, verdant green. These vivid layers contrast sharply with the atmospheric neutrality of the surrounding space.
The artist employs a mixed media technique to create tactile depth. Visible brushstrokes add a sense of urgency and motion. A cloud of white paint floats at the top, offering a moment of lightness. The arrangement suggests a vertical journey or a shifting landscape. Each color field acts as a distinct emotional state. The grey expanse blends these elements into a cohesive, meditative experience. This artwork balances spontaneous gesture with a structured spatial logic. The surface reveals a rich layering of pigments and textures. A subtle signature and date mark the bottom right corner.
