Green Throne, 2026

Aram Yengibaryan

This abstract mixed media painting explores the tension between structure and chaos. A vivid green form dominates the center. It suggests a fragmented symbol or a weathered architectural ruin. The brushwork is urgent and visceral. Thick layers of paint create a tactile surface.
The composition is grounded by a moody palette of grey, charcoal, and deep blue. These cool tones contrast sharply with the electric vibrancy of the central figure. Horizontal streaks of white cut across the canvas. They evoke a sense of movement or a distant horizon.
The artist employs a spontaneous technique. Drips of paint descend from the green mass. They bleed into the lower registers of the artwork. This fluid motion suggests a state of dissolution. The interplay of transparency and opacity adds psychological depth. It transforms the canvas into a space of emotional transition. Every stroke reveals a balance between intentionality and chance. The piece concludes with a subtle play of red and gold accents at the base.
