Description
Abstraction is expressed here through a dialogue between matter and time. The composition is structured around a marked verticality. Dark and precise lines structure the space. They contrast with areas of dense and eroded textures.
The work on paper and glass brings a tactile depth. The shades of beige, brown, and gray evoke geological strata or ancient vestiges. A touch of red draws a discreet geometric shape in the center. This detail brings a visual anchor to this organic ensemble.
The technical approach emphasizes a search for roots and the collective unconscious. The surface seems to have undergone the action of elements. The final rendering oscillates between painting and sculpture. The balance of earthy tones reinforces the natural aspect of the piece. This creation dates from 2002.
