Description
This figurative composition explores nature with instinctive freedom. The artist uses acrylic to bring stylized sunflowers to life. The shapes intertwine in a game of bold colors.
The gesture is fluid. The pigments overlap to create a marked visual relief. The deep blue dialogues with flashes of yellow and red.
The intuitive approach guides the hand. The brush gives way to improvisation. The result oscillates between figuration and abstraction.
The light seems to burst from the center of the flowers. The contours fade to suggest an organic movement.
The background, nuanced with gray and white, accentuates the contrast of the warm tones. This work created in 2024 testifies to a research on transparency and spontaneity. The brushstrokes are applied generously on the canvas. Each area reveals a superposition of materials and nuances.
Presentation
To liberate, through painting and writing, the themes that are dear to my heart.
After attending several workshops and working with different techniques, I chose watercolor and acrylic a few years ago.
This nuanced and sensitive approach reflects my personality. That's why I practice watercolor with mixed media on canvas or paper (watercolor, acrylic, collage, ink), and gravitate towards semi-abstract or abstract art. This pictorial path, this "process" of mine, stimulates my creativity, grants me joyful freedom in the interplay of colors, and opens me up to a dreamlike world.
I mostly paint "intuitively," meaning I apply colors according to my mood, collages, water, and let it dry.
I work on wet paper, progressing according to the drying times. Then I examine my painting from all angles to identify what my subconscious has wanted to reveal. This allows me to paint and write about themes close to my heart: the protection of children and the vulnerable, of nature, and of the abuse of power. I then work on what emerges until the piece is complete.
My painting is free, fluid, easy… and comes directly from my soul. It is a reflection of my unconscious.
I published my first book in 2022, "The Power of the Soul: Being Yourself in Transparency." I just published my second book in 2023, "Creative at Heart: The Intuitive Breath." A few words accompany the presentation of my works, but each reader is free to interpret them as they see fit.
