Description
Geometric precision meets organic warmth in this 2024 composition. The artwork balances bold shapes with a luminous white void. Sharp angles intersect in a rhythmic dance of color. Deep teals and vibrant yellows create a dynamic visual tension. Soft pinks and earthy reds soften the structural rigor. Each form feels deliberate yet fluid. The use of collage adds a tactile dimension to the surface. This approach breaks the flatness of the plane. The artist explores the harmony between mathematical order and emotional intuition. A sense of equilibrium emerges from the scattered arrangement. The white space acts as a breath between the saturated zones. It guides the eye across the canvas in a seamless loop. The painting transforms basic geometry into a poetic language of space. It reflects a search for essence through minimalist means. The interaction of primary and secondary tones generates a subtle internal light. The composition concludes with a sharp green wedge anchoring the bottom right corner.
Presentation
Griselda Rivilla Tort (1978, Barcelona), artistically known as GRISELDA.R.T, is a self-taught artist specializing in figurative art and contemporary realism. Her work is distinguished by a profound mastery of graphite and charcoal, techniques with which she captures the intensity of her subjects' gazes and their psychological essence, often incorporating elements of conceptual calligraphy and India ink.
Focusing on portraying icons of music, classic cinema, and history, her work stands out for its meticulous detail that goes beyond simple photographic reproduction, seeking to connect emotionally with the viewer through chiaroscuro.
