Description
This geometric composition explores the tension between structured form and fluid color. Sharp angles intersect across a pale ground. The layout creates a dynamic rhythm. Bold shapes push against the edges of the frame. Deep purples and forest greens provide a heavy anchor to the vision. A central yellow polygon radiates warmth. It acts as a focal point amidst the surrounding darker tones. Small accents of red inject a sudden energy into the balance. Each plane is defined by a clean edge. The application of pigment reveals a subtle transparency. This suggests the use of watercolor or gouache on paper. The artist avoids symmetry to evoke a sense of movement. The arrangement feels calculated yet spontaneous. It transforms the flat surface into a spatial puzzle. The contrast between the void of the white background and the saturated hues enhances the visual impact. The artwork concludes with a precise signature in the lower left corner.
Presentation
Griselda Rivilla Tort (1978, Barcelona), artistically known as GRISELDA.R.T, is a self-taught artist specializing in figurative art and contemporary realism. Her work is distinguished by a profound mastery of graphite and charcoal, techniques with which she captures the intensity of her subjects' gazes and their psychological essence, often incorporating elements of conceptual calligraphy and India ink.
Focusing on portraying icons of music, classic cinema, and history, her work stands out for its meticulous detail that goes beyond simple photographic reproduction, seeking to connect emotionally with the viewer through chiaroscuro.
