Description
This 2024 composition explores the balance between void and form. Bold geometric shapes float across a clean white expanse. The artist employs a vibrant palette of primary and secondary tones. Deep blues contrast with luminous yellows and soft pinks. A central dark green triangle anchors the arrangement.
The technique blends painting and collage to create a rhythmic visual flow. Each segment is defined by sharp edges and saturated colors. The negative space acts as a structural element. It guides the eye through a calculated dance of angles. This abstract approach strips away representation to focus on pure harmony. The result is a study in equilibrium and spatial tension. Light reflects off the flat planes of color. The artwork concludes with a precise intersection of dark teal and emerald green.
Presentation
Griselda Rivilla Tort (1978, Barcelona), artistically known as GRISELDA.R.T, is a self-taught artist specializing in figurative art and contemporary realism. Her work is distinguished by a profound mastery of graphite and charcoal, techniques with which she captures the intensity of her subjects' gazes and their psychological essence, often incorporating elements of conceptual calligraphy and India ink.
Focusing on portraying icons of music, classic cinema, and history, her work stands out for its meticulous detail that goes beyond simple photographic reproduction, seeking to connect emotionally with the viewer through chiaroscuro.
