Description
An interior scene captures a moment of suspended calm. The gaze travels between generous shapes and bold colors. A red sofa attracts attention in the center of the room, accompanied by a matching ottoman. Blue cushions bring a touch of freshness to the whole.
The composition is enriched by lush vegetation. Green plants and a cactus integrate naturally into the decor, creating a dialogue between nature and architecture. In the foreground, circular objects rest on a floor with graphic lines.
The background opens up to a painting. One can glimpse a beach with striped umbrellas and lounge chairs. This play superimposes two spaces, the intimate refuge and the call of travel. Outside it snows, contrast of warm and cold.
The line is assured, the color blocks are sharp. The light seems diffuse, homogeneous, reinforcing the serene aspect of the composition. The balance of masses and the precision of the contours structure this imaginary domestic space.

Isis is a contemporary painter whose colorful and graphic universe navigates between the intimate and the playful, between design and dream. For all time, she creates and assembles forms, inventing spaces that resemble interior theater scenes, where objects, sets, furniture, and colors become the real heroes.
Her artist name comes from the first two letters of her first name and the last two letters of her surname.
She signs two elongated "S"s ending in two "I"s, an open logo that explains that what is important is the path...
Her work is an invitation to the imaginary, to the memory of places and to the emotional force of the inhabited space. Each canvas is a carefully thought-out composition, or interiors transform into sorts of mental paintings. Isis plays with the codes of decoration, the icons of design, stylized textures, exuberant plants, vintage wallpaper, and symbolic objects. The whole is bathed in a pop, joyously retro-futuristic atmosphere, with often a deliberately skewed perspective that invites to dream.
Self-taught, Isis has built a strong artistic identity, outside academic paths, but always with a demand for visual and narrative coherence.
