Description
A singular composition where the human body intertwines with the notion of time. The brush draws carnal curves that seem to melt into the dial of a monumental clock. The movement is circular, fluid, almost hypnotic.
Acrylic allows for a precise rendering of volumes and plays of light here. Ocher and earthy tones dominate the scene, bringing an organic warmth to the whole. The nudity is treated with a sculptural approach, transforming flesh into an architectural element.
The Roman numerals, partially obscured, suggest a suspended temporality. The gaze travels between the joined hands and the tension of the muscles, creating a dialogue between the ephemeral and eternity. This painting from 2019 explores the fragility of existence through complex bodily geometry. The dark background accentuates the relief of the central figures, highlighting the precision of the line. Each shade of beige and brown emphasizes the depth of the relief and the texture of the skin.
