Description
A female face emerges from a dense metropolis. The blue gaze, intense and clear, immediately captures attention. The composition merges the human and the architecture in a singular balance.
The feature fragments. The contours of the portrait merge with blocks of concrete and urban structures. Each segment of skin becomes a facade, each shadow a dark alley. In the background, the silhouette of a skyscraper dominates the horizon under a sky with golden hues.
The chromatic contrast marks the composition. The warm tones of the face oppose the cool and bluish shades of the city. The light highlights the finesse of the lips and the depth of the gaze, creating a dialogue between the intimate and the urban immensity.
The artist explores here the symbiosis between the individual and their environment. The city is no longer a simple backdrop, it becomes the very substance of being. The precise rendering of textures reinforces the architectural aspect of this portrait.

Presentation
Born in Warsaw, Poland, in 1956, Marius Zabin currently resides in France.
From a very young age, Zabin began painting and drawing. After graduating from general secondary school, he entered the Warsaw Academy of Fine Arts, where he studied art conservation. However, his passion remained primarily for painting and drawing. At the age of 25, after four years of study, the difficult political situation in his country forced him to emigrate to France. This was a critical period, and the artist needed to support himself; he therefore accepted a position as a conservator and restorer of paintings. This path he took provided him with invaluable knowledge and exceptional expertise. This occupation did not prevent him from painting and exhibiting his work simultaneously.
In his paintings, Zabin emphasizes light and atmosphere, without neglecting detail. He creates spontaneously, which gives his paintings freshness and authenticity. Depending on the subject, he likes to give more importance to a particular element, whether it be water, light, or the environment.
Since 1978, he has participated in a large number of exhibitions in Europe, Japan and the United States.
