Guardian: Spiritual Winged Figure Over a Dark City

Explore this spiritual winged figure artwork for a dramatic modern interior. “Guardian" (100 × 160 cm / 39.4 × 63 in) is an oil on canvas work centered on a luminous robed presence floating above a dark city and a river enclosed by steep, pine-covered slopes. Its outstretched white wings establish a striking vertical rhythm against clouds of charcoal, blue-gray, and misty silver. The image transforms an urban setting into a poetic vision of watchfulness. A soft current of light moves from the figure toward the landscape below, while shadowy buildings appear almost dreamlike at the foot of the forest. The work carries the idea that the city has its own god, expressing protection, solitude, and an unsettlingly beautiful stillness without explaining everything. Its magical realist language balances recognizable details with an atmosphere of mystery. A strong choice for collectors of surrealism, spiritual imagery, and contemporary figurative art, this large-format work can anchor a living room, entrance hall, bedroom, or reflective workspace. It also makes an evocative gift for admirers of fantasy-inflected art and moody, elegant decor.

The artwork will be shipped without a stretcher frame, rolled in a cardboard tube for safe transportation.
