Description
A red silhouette dominates the center of the composition. The body, with generous and simplified forms, rests on a floor of deep blue. The gaze is calm, almost melancholic. A tension settles between the colored mass of the character and the finesse of the facial features.
The space is divided into clear chromatic zones. The pale pink of the sky meets a solar yellow and an intense red. In the foreground, an open book suggests a moment of pause or reflection. Some stylized flowers and wild grasses add an organic touch to the whole.
The balance rests on the contrast of primary colors. In the background, two blue silhouettes, tiny and anonymous, reinforce the feeling of isolation of the main subject. The line is assured, defining flat and sharp surfaces. The light seems to come from above, accentuating the roundness of the limbs. This acrylic painting on canvas plays with the duality between the solitude and the serenity of an imaginary landscape.
Presentation
Young Parisian artist, Xavier de Vilmorin invites you to join his colorful, dreamy and nostalgic universe illustrated by acrylic, oil and dry pastel paintings.
He discovered his passion for drawing at a very young age. But it was during his second year at animation school that he painted his first canvas, in the depths of the 17th arrondissement.
Known for his personal style, he combines simple geometric shapes with bold hues.
Between love and passion, you immerse yourself in an atypical, touching and inspiring world. It offers a real duel of colors having cubism and expressionism as sources of inspiration.
Find the unique touch of an artist to represent materials and light, to capture an atmosphere and a moment.
Xavier de Vilmorin quickly attracted the attention of the artistic community and was invited to exhibit his works in Parisian exhibitions. He continues to work on new projects and develop as an artist.
