Description
WE ARE ELEMENTS
Water, Air, and Fire are essential to everyone, as Polaroid is to me.
My work is almost exclusively dedicated to this weapon against the digital age.
Using my old friend the SLR680 camera, I collaborated with the lovely Ada Ardent, to create
three short studies. Three different approaches, using light, space, and body, and of course
my medium of profession, the moody, textured, and colorful at the same time Polaroid film.
Chilean photographer, resident in France since 1997, Raul Diaz works exclusively at Polaroid. His training at the prestigious School of Visual Arts in New York and at the Corcoran School of Arts in Washington, D.C., allowed him to start with famous photographers like Stéphane Sednaoui and Jean-Baptiste Mondino.
Today it is regularly published and exhibited in France and internationally.
