On May 6, 2020, the President of the French Republic declared during a videoconference with the actors of the world of culture: "We are entering a period where we must somehow ride the tiger, and therefore domesticate it (... ) The tiger will not disappear, it will be there. And fear will be there in society (…) The only way [the tiger] does not devour us is to get on it "His speech on the crisis is completed by a reference to Robin Crusoe: "(...) Robinson, when the shipwreck is there, he does not get his hands in his head trying to make a great theory of the shipwreck. He first takes ham , cheese, but he has the ability to reinvent a unique story within him. I think we have that. " It is in this spirit that the artist Alëxone Dizac illustrated the words of the President of the Republic with an original lithograph printed by Editions Atelier Clot.
This lithograph is entitled:
"CHEVAUCHE TON TIGRE" ORIGINAL LITHOGRAPHY Printed in 8 passes and gold embossing around the head Edition signed & numbered 100 copies + XE.A From drawing to printing, this lithograph was entirely made by hand . Drawn by the artist's hand on lithographic stone then printed color by color on a Marinoni Voirin lithographic press from 1920. Atelier Clot is one of the oldest and most famous lithography workshops in the world. Since 1896, his name has been associated with that of the greatest painters from the end of the 19th century to the present day. Lautrec, Degas, Renoir, Rodin, Monet, Munch ... or more recently Foujita, Matisse, Calder, Soulages have printed their works there.
