Description
This captivating work features an illustration of a young woman elegantly posed on a bright red Vespa. The protagonist's relaxed posture, combined with her floral-patterned summer dress, evokes a carefree and joyful mood. In the background, the majestic Colosseum stands out in all its architectural splendor, bathed in a soft and soothing light. The juxtaposition of the modern scooter and the ancient monument creates a striking contrast between tradition and modernity. The bright blue sky, encircled in a circular shape, adds a dreamy dimension to the whole, harmoniously framing the scene. The attention to detail is remarkable, from the precise lines of the Colosseum's bricks to the subtle reflections on the Vespa's bodywork. This illustration is not just a simple homage to Italy, but becomes a visual celebration of the Italian spirit and style of the 60s. The work, with its retro charm and bright color palette, captures the essence of an era marked by freedom and dolce vita.

Félix Meynet is a French comic strip author and former ski instructor, born November 26, 1961 in Saint-Jeoire-en-Faucigny.
