Description
Original print by Félix MEYNET, signed and numbered 69/69 by the artist. Sold framed and under glass.
This captivating work presents a dynamic scene in black and white, where the influence of movement is central to the composition. The artist uses fluid lines and angular shapes to create palpable tension and vibrant energy. The absence of color accentuates the contrast and highlights the precision of the line. The black frame emphasizes the intensity of the image, creating a striking visual effect. This drawing demonstrates an impressive mastery of bodily expression and human interaction, offering the viewer a modern yet timeless interpretation of connection. The work is distinguished by its boldness and distinctive style, capturing a scene that is both intimate and dramatic.
Presentation
Félix Meynet is a French comic strip author and former ski instructor, born November 26, 1961 in Saint-Jeoire-en-Faucigny. Based in Bellevaux, in Haute-Savoie, he notably created the series Fanfoué des Pnottas, where his characters are part of his region: of popular inspiration, they make fun of tourists, but also local people... His wife Dominique helps with the coloring of the albums.
Meynet also draws several series, including Les Eternels and Sauvage, scripted by Yann. Sauvage and in particular its fifth volume released at the beginning of 2020 earned it very positive reviews.
