Description
Meynet/The Trap Woman. Original drawing made for a tribute to Bilal. Indian ink and graphite on cardboard. Signed. 30 X 40 cm. Framed with double Marie Louise + Solid oak frame Made In France + Under glass.
Félix Meynet made his debut in the late 90s in the Génération Dargaud collection with the Double M series. He then collaborated on many collective albums, before signing new series such as Fanfoué, Tatiana K. or Les Éternels, with Yann. In 2013, at Casterman, he launched the Sauvage series, tailor-made by his accomplice Yann.
Presentation
Félix Meynet is a French comic strip author and former ski instructor, born November 26, 1961 in Saint-Jeoire-en-Faucigny. Based in Bellevaux, in Haute-Savoie, he notably created the series Fanfoué des Pnottas, where his characters are part of his region: of popular inspiration, they make fun of tourists, but also local people... His wife Dominique helps with the coloring of the albums.
Meynet also draws several series, including Les Eternels and Sauvage, scripted by Yann. Sauvage and in particular its fifth volume released at the beginning of 2020 earned it very positive reviews.
